Anybody know a fix for Audio/Video synch problems while watching CBSHD?
The Basics: 52" HP Plasma tv (1080i) DirecTV HD DVR no home theatre setup, using tv speakers My problem comes down to one station single and thats CBS and my problem only occur when watching HD shows. Whenever I watch a show close to C.S.I. or more recently the NCAA basketball tournament, adjectives of which were within HD, there is a slight snag between what I see and what I hear. The delay is I don`t know less than 1/4 of a second, but it's VERY clear. I'll see someone talk, but I won't hear it until 1/4 second next. This was extremely annoying watching basketball the final few weeks when you'd see the ball stir through the net, but wouldn't hear the "swish" until the other troop inbounds the ball.. This also happen on every show broadcast in HD as powerfully as the local CBS news, which is surrounded by hd also. Any shows on CBS that are in standard definition are fine. Also any other shows contained by HD on any other channel are fine as economically. My problem is only beside my HD service on CBS. Any suggestions

Anyone know if I can use a Splitter beside the modern converter boxes ?

Anyone know where on earth I can go and get a Multi-National 40" or larger HDTV 1080P LCD TV contained by the USA?
I currently live in northern VA and adjectives the local stores like bestbuy, circuit city and tweeter do not get multinational tv's. I am thinking about moving out of the country to SA and I would close to to buy a TV before I depart. Anyone have any thinking?

Apex Tv?
I have an Apex Tv and it seem to cut off picture about an inch adjectives the way around. For example, on espn, the bottom red file that gives you score is cut off. Is in that anyway to adjust the tv so I can see everything, so it doesnt cut off any imitation?

Are adjectives sony bravia models 1080p HD resolution?
i just bought a ps3 and i wanna formulate the most out of it. they say it wont be too stunning if i dont own a tv with 1080p resolution. i own a sony bravia lcd screen, one and only, i dont know its model, codename or whatever, so i cant research its specs. so off-colour just ask contained by general.

Are at hand any slim/flat-screen CRT tube television on the marketplace?
I ask, because I still play a lot of PS2, DC, and xbox games that largely use 480p resolution. HDTV's have input wad, and going through all the trouble to remove it is a pain. If anyone can point me to the right direction, appreciation in credit.

we're looking for a 32" HDTV...Insignia aren't the best, I know. But they are $550. Which is good We would a bit a sharp HDTV...they have a great picture...but somewhat out of our price range. What are the opinion on the Insignia? Please honest opinions, but no have need of to be rude. Thanks

Bar code effect on 1080p resolution!?
Hey there, i only got a tentative sony kdl 32d3000, only if i turn the setting to 1080p on my xbox 360, when a dimness screen or a black pay for drop appears, you see like a barcode effect across the blind.(white black line across it, inch within thickness). Its ok on 720p and 1080i, but just 1080p. Is this a slate with th tv.! Cheers surrounded by advance.

Best Buy Home Service, I am really frustrated!! Help!?
I have a TV that I purchased from Best Buy a year ago and it fixed to crap out on me so I called best buy to repair it since I own a 4 year warranty. Its been nearly 2 months since my TV's be messed up and they ordered the wrong part (a month ago). So they said that they be going to reorder it, i was waiting patiently till I call Best Buy today saying that they cancelled it, I be like WTF! So they ordered it and they said its on backorder. Im furious because its the lone TV in my apartment. I call the manufacturer (Westinghouse) and they said they can do zilch because the 1 year is up. So what to do?? Black Spot on HDTV?
I just turned on the tv to find a black fuzzy spot within the bottom left corner. It almost looks as if a magnet be stuck to it but that couldn't have happen. If anyone has any philosophy that'd be great because it appears to be getting bigger, and ruining my very expensive TV.

BLUE KRZR K1m - BIG problem?
Today, after class, i accidently dropped my 3-4 month old KRZR K1m, i enjoy dropped it many times formerly but nothing unpromising has happend until today. DVI or VGA to Component? Is it possible to go from my Macbook Pro to a HDTV component input?

I'm trying to get the output from my Macbook pro's DVI (or VGA with the adaptor) into my HD CRT's component input. It has no HDMI. I've seen a few cables and adaptors but they said ATI video card only and I think I have a Nvidia. And if it is possible, what kind of resolution will I get?

I think you mainly just need to sort out what kind of DVI your MBP has (I'm pretty sure its DVI-I, I think all the MBPs were that, but you might want to double check).

That sight has some cables on it as well that do the same. But how successful are they? That seems to be a harder thing to peg down. Typically it seems like cables and adapters only work so far. If you want to increase the odds of it working, you likely need to invest in a scaler, but it won't come cheap. As for the resolution, you should be able to get 1080i out of it. DVI can do 1080i and so can component. So there's no reason you shouldn't be able to get that onto your TV. It will also support 720p. It just won't do 1080p.
