Zoom H2 can also take SD cards (a 512MB SD card is included in the box) which you can use to save your recording. The unit can accommodate up to a 16GB SD card though, which allows up to 24 hours of total recording time using the 16-bit/44.1kHz WAV format. At 128kbps MP3, you get an amazing 280 hours of stereo recording. The H2 also has a USB 2.0 interface, so the device can be connected to a computer in order to move your recordings there for storage, editing or playback. You can use Zoom H2 as a USB mic as well in order to record directly to a computer. And, direct playback on Zoom H2 is also possible. Various play-back options are available including single-file playback, single-file repeat, all-file playback, and all-file repeat.
Physically, Zoom H2 Recorder has a clear, back-lit screen which displays recording levels, time code, file name and remaining battery life. LEDs are used to show Front, Rear, 2 Channel or 4 Channel modes and the recording angle. At the front and back of the device you can also see LEDs indicating which mics are active. Transport controls include one button recording, playback and pause, fast forward and rewind. Simply by pushing a single button, the recording session can be immediately started. One button recording, gain controls on the side and an intuitive user interface allow you to always capture the moment. Adjust your levels, push the record button and go. That's all. Or, you can use Auto Start and Auto Gain Control features to accomplish complete capture at the correct level. In terms of power, Zoom H2 can run continuously for approximately 4 hours on 2 x AA batteries, thanks to its low-power circuitry. In order to do longer sessions, you can power the device using the AC adapter. When using the unit as an SD card reader or USB mic, it can operate on USB bus power. The device is very portable, weighing only approximately 4 ounces.

it will record. u need av splitters. and a double sided av cable. red white and yellow cables. easy cap works. but terrible quality. on youtube they show examples of the outcomes. not good. save for a dazzle
