how to crossfire HD 4670?

I've got an MSI R4670 (the older one with the two crossfire connectors at the top) I want to add another 4670 card, but the MSI ones only come with the software crossfire models, can I mix and match those two and still have the crossfire work, or will I need to get one that has the bridge connectors (ie: BIOSTAR VA4673NH51-B)?

You'll need one with the older bridge connectors on the GPU.
