My desktop computer's graphic card,spoiled...?
I have an Amd Athlon 64x2 6000+ 3.0 ghz and a nvidia 9800+ gtx graphic card (not the plus version) desktop computer,it is a 3yrs old computer,the graphic card has been spoiled,should I get a new graphic card or should I buy a new computer (I'm thinking of getting a laptop not desktop),because of the rapid speed of technology improving,I'm just worried if I get a new graphic card,my computer won't last long in the digital world

My budget for getting a new computer is $1,200
The CPU is pretty old, so any new video card you get will be bottlenecked your CPU. I recommend a desktop not a laptop, they're much more expensive for much inferior hardware due to the fact they're portable. You could get a great gaming PC for $700-1000 that'll run all games perfect, but a laptop for that price will be able to run the latest games ok, but nowhere near as good as a desktop could.
