my previous one told me that I didn't support Shader Model 2.0 and I'm looking to replace.
Why do you insist on PCI graphics cards when your Dimension 8250 has an AGP slot?
ANY PCI card is going to be SLOWER than your onboard graphics due to the 33mHz bottleneck on the PCI bus. A PCI card is going to crap out even on a low-end game like Sims 3.
Get an AGP card.
