Why does my CD drive interrupt music output (ripped disc) and increase its revolutions for no apparent reason?
It's a Benq CD rewritable drive I use at work. It's happened with different music software (Windows Media Player, ATI Multimedia Ctr). I have nothing else on the discs other than 'CD Audio' tracks. Every 2 - 5 minutes it will pause playback and increase its scanning speed in two different increments, then slow down and continue playing. Is it just a simple setting I've overlooked in my Hardware Properties? Thanks very much.
Do you have CD correction on??? If not turn it on in the options or preference window.....Hope this helped...
