external tv tuner for monitor?
i would like to use my acer 22 inch monitor as a high definiton tv. But the problem is that i dont wany to use my computer itself. just the monitor itself and the tv tuner box. i have two boxes that i am thinking of buying the links are beolw

If you have digital HDTV service via cable, satellite or FiOS, you already have a tuner box. Digital HDTV cable boxes have DVI or HDMI outputs, and can be connected directly to an LCD monitor as long as the LCD monitor is HDCP-compliant (check your monitor specs).
If the digital HDTV cable box has DVI, you use a standard DVI cable. If the digital HDTV cable box has HDMI, you use a DVI-to-HDMI cable.
