Sure it will! Remember that at the end of the day, Windows 7 is still a 2D program and will use less video card power than even the earliest 3D games. You're fine. The only thing to keep in mind is that some programs for W7 (especially some games) will require a video card that is DirectX 10 compatible, which the 7600 GT is not. It's only DirectX 9.0 comaptible.
To install it, you open the side of your case, the top slot will be larger than the rest. That's your PCI-Express slot. Simply pop the card in with the connector at the bottom of the card and screw it into the little hole. That's all there is to it. Plug the monitor into the card and boot up the computer. Go to nvidia.com and download the drivers. Install the drivers and your done. Here's a YouTube video to help you along:
